UF resins
Urea-Formaldehyde resin, which is a type of synthetic polymer made by polymerizing urea and formaldehyde. Urea-Formaldehyde resin is also classed as a thermosetting plastic, meaning that once it is set or cured, it cannot be re-melted. UF resins are typically used for adhesives, coatings, and finishes because they offer good hardness, chemical resistance, and durability. MUF resins
MUF resin stands for Melamine-Urea-Formaldehyde resin, which is a type of thermosetting plastic formed by combining melamine, urea, and formaldehyde. It is a modification of the traditional Urea-Formaldehyde (UF) resin, with melamine incorporated into the formulation to enhance certain properties like heat resistance, durability, and water resistance.
MUF resin has many applications due to its improved characteristics compared to traditional UF resin including: Wood adhesives, laminated wood products, furniture coating, agriculture and fertiliser coatings well as multiple other industrial adhesive applications.
HexiFas 37/7 Sanitation solutions
Our Hexifas range of formaldehyde solutions are blends of formaldehyde and methanol and can be tailored to suit the customer. Hexifas 37/7 is a concentrated aqueous solution of formaldehyde, typically containing 37% formaldehyde by weight. It is commonly used as a disinfectant, preservative, and in various industrial applications including Chicken and Fish farm sanitation.
HexiFas 37/12 Sanitation solutions
Our Hexifas range of formaldehyde solutions are blends of formaldehyde and methanol and can be tailored to suit the customer. HexiFas 37/12 is an aqueous solution of formaldehyde, containing 37% formaldehyde by weight, commonly used for preserving biological samples in medical and laboratory settings but can also be used in textile industry for fabric finishing to impart wrinkle-resistance and durability. Additionally, HexiFas 37/12 is an essential component in the production of resins, plastics, and certain chemicals.
